The ADNOC L&S Integrated Logistics business segment is the world’s largest fully integrated, energy maritime logistics services provider, offering end-to-end services for the transportation of people, materials and equipment, fuel, and water. We own and operate an extensive fleet of offshore support vessels and Jack-Up barges, and provide supply services, material handling, container terminal operations, jetty services, warehousing, and diving support, all of which are critical to the energy supply chain.
These operations are based out of our many logistics bases and warehouses in Mussafah, Ruwais, Fujairah, Das, Mubarraz and Zirku Island, including the UAE Gateway at KEZAD , the terminal handling facility at Khalifa Port, and warehousing services through one of the largest single warehouses in the Middle East region.
In 2023, we completed the first full year of operations of our Integrated Logistics Services Platform (ILSP) – which is among the largest turnkey offshores logistics offerings in the world and provides ADNOC Group and a growing portfolio of EPC customers with highly granular and detailed digital logistics planning and resource optimization capabilities.
The ILSP is a unique offering that centralizes all logistics requirements for the Company’s customers through a single interface that offers:
ADNOC L&S is focusing on EPC markets, across multiple geographies. One of the Company's strategies is to expand its range of integrated maritime services and its proven ability to execute major offshore engineering, procurement, and construction contracts.
As the largest shipping and integrated logistics company in the region, with a highly diversified fleet and innovative service offerings, we are well positioned to take advantage of growth opportunities both in the UAE and internationally.
Offshore logistics is the largest business line in our Integrated Logistics business unit. Our primary focus is keeping ADNOC’s extensive offshore drilling and production activities supported from the construction of offshore islands to supply of essential equipment, materials, and personnel, fundamental to maintaining safe and efficient round-the-clock operations.
Key services provided by the offshore logistics segment include offshore managed hubs, material and equipment handling, facility servicing, mini dive support services, chartering, cargo and supply, personnel transport, safety and intervention services and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) related logistics services.
Central to the delivery of these integrated offshore services is the diverse, modern and sustainable fleet of more than 110+ offshore support vessels that we own and operate. The offshore fleet delivers a wide range of capabilities and includes platform supply vessels, construction support vessels, anchor handling tug supply vessels, high-speed and emergency response craft, utility crew boats, multi-purpose support vessels, as well as three ferries transporting approximately 130,000 passengers to offshore sites per year.
Onshore logistics provides a variety of logistics solutions, including warehousing and material management, packaging and container terminal operations as well as jetty services and operations through many logistics bases and warehouses.
These facilities include:
The acquisition of ZMI International was a powerful strategic driver for the extension of the ADNOC L&S Integrated Logistics segment and represents an important part of ADNOC L&S’ strategic value creation and growth program, reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering value accretive growth and driving investment in the UAE.
As a result, ADNOC L&S owns and operates the world’s largest fleet of self-propelled, self-elevating Jack-Up barges (JUBs), expanding our fleet to 42, which operates in Abu Dhabi, KSA, Qatar and Iraq. JUBs are required across all stages from development to decommissioning of a field, including dredging and construction of artificial islands, and have unlocked new business streams, including well-testing and offshore renewables.
ADNOC L&S is exceptionally well-placed to serve the EPC market across multiple geographies. The Company has been awarded six EPC projects since the end of 2021 with a total value of $1.2 billion, including a $975 million contract by ADNOC Offshore to build the artificial island Al Omairah in Lower Zakum field.
